Foodies

Foodies daytime events are activity-based and focus on providing members with the opportunity to learn about food history and culture and food preparation. Recent past events have included a ‘Nutritious and Delicious’ cooking class and lunch, a tour of the Looks Delicious! exhibition at Japan House, a visit to the Cake and Bake Show at Olympia, and a hands on introductory fermentation workshop. Foodies dinners are held on weekday evenings regularly throughout the year, typically at central London locations. They provide a wonderful opportunity for AWC women to get together and enjoy each other’s company and friendship, whilst sampling some of the amazing dining opportunities available here in London. Recent restaurant visits have included Roka, the Cinnamon Club, Jeru, and Rovi.
